The point of interest of almost every wedding is the gorgeous bride. The guests will be full of anticipation as they await her entrance into the marriage rite, and virtually everybody in attendance will fuss over how lovely she is. Nevertheless a marriage is about 2 folk, and all to often the groom can be pushed aside, especially when it comes to wedding photography.

Nevertheless while photographers often focus much of their attention on the woman of the moment, the groom and his attendants can also provide some emotional images which should be adored for years to come.

It is reasonably common for the wedding photographer to spend some time shooting the bride before the marriage. This is when he or she captures the bride preparing for her day, documenting her metamorphosis into a beautiful princess. Nevertheless frequently the shots can lack the strength offered by shots of the groom in his preparations. The hours before a wedding are filled with emotions and excitement. Men and Women deal with these in absolutely different methods. While the bride might be refined, but emotional as she prepares with her bridesmaids, her groom and his best man may be relieving the strain with some last minute shenanigans.

Providing a second photographer to capture the groom in his own preparations will make allowance for a contrast between the bride and the groom. The photos will capture the same emptions, but show two totally different ways of handling them. The bride's images may emanate poise and class while the groom's could have a little bit of a party feeling.

Of course, the bonds between a groom and his chums can be just as robust as the one traditionally seen with the bride and her bridesmaids and if a photographer is lucky enough, or has a sufficiently sharp eye, she may be able to capture a rare moment of joy and emotion shared between the men in the wedding party.
